This is our 16th issue, called “Warning! Construction Zone.” Super Mario Maker has claimed the cover, and its upcoming release has inspired us to look back on the past of user-created content in Nintendo history.
That serves as our central feature, and then Super Mario Maker’s influence continues throughout the rest of the issue as well, inspiring us to do a retrospective on Mario Paint in the Retro section, take a look at different ways fans have “made Mario” in Community and even helping you to make your own Mario! A papercraft Mario model from Christopher Beaumont (creator of Cubeecraft) is included with this issue. Cut it out and fold it into a new paper toy companion for your computer desk!
